Security Officer - Graveyard Shift

Job Summary

Guard, patrol, or monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules; respond to first aid emergencies; support occupational safety or risk mitigation initiatives

Primary Responsibilities

Secures all university facilities and ensures that facilities are properly secured.

Responds to all emergency calls intrusion alarms and fire alarms and ensures that proper procedures are followed.

Maintains and enforces trespass / ban list.

Routine patrols of the campus and its facilities.

Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences

Patrol campus premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.

Render first aid care as needed.

Report potential risk management or occupational safety issues.

Attend all training and department meetings.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Approximate starting hourly rate :

14.00 - 15.00
