Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Power Systems Engineer to support medium voltage electrical systems and contribute to project design, installation, and startup. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a proactive approach, and the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage the schedule and technical quality of assigned engineering tasks, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
Identify and communicate design or scope changes promptly as familiarity with tasks and expectations increases.
Provide on-site support during system startup and coordinate work activities with team members and project leads.
Develop detailed electrical design documentation, including :
Motor control center (MCC) single line diagrams
Electric room layouts
Motor control elementaries and connection diagrams
Cable schedules and control panel layouts
Grounding, lighting, and power plans
Collaborate effectively across multiple teams to ensure project goals are met.
Apply innovative ideas and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering
Minimum 5 years of professional Electrical Engineering experience, including medium voltage systems (480V and below)
Proficiency with Revit or BIM software
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred but not required
Strong ability to learn quickly and expand technical knowledge
Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills across multi-disciplinary environments
Passion for buildings, construction, and electrical systems
