Security Officer - Patrol Aerospace Facility

Job Schedule : Day Time

Tue 07 : 30 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Thur 07 : 30 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Fri 07 : 30 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity or unauthorized access. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site, particularly in an aerospace and defense setting.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain an orderly environment.
  • Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and / or first responders as needed during emergencies or critical situations.
  • Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and information to employees, visitors, and contractors as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
