Sonographer Women's Health

The Staff Sonographer does ultrasound tests and other important scans in their department.

These tests are done independently with guidance from doctors and sometimes in cooperation with other staff members.

The Staff Sonographer also helps train and educate other staff members at all experience levels.

They have the necessary qualifications for their job and meet the required time and experience needed for the position.

• Qualifications :

1. Advanced Certification

• Certified in OB / GYN by ARDMS2. Completed a program in Diagnostic Sonography that is recognized

3. At least 6 months of experience doing scans including OB / GYN beyond training.

• Preferred :
• Experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) is a plus
• Works well as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Can think critically while performing scans
