Bid Coordinator

This position is responsible for preparing and completing all bids on behalf of Shamrock Foods Company ensuring customer pricing accuracy / competitiveness and company profitability.

Essential Duties :

• Reviews all school bid requests outlining key information and RFP specifications.
• Prepare school bids for all Shamrock locations, working cross functionally with other internal departments, timely consolidating and submitting bid.
• Understand School Pricing Modules.
• Responsible for the accuracy bid submittal data.
• Manage Vendor / Broker relationships coordinating price requests and all necessary documentation.
• Understand how to read RFPs, nutrition panels, formulation data sheets, Child Nutrition Labels, NOI (commodities).
• Product Matching between vendor and Shamrock codes.
• Handle all vendor price increase notifications and vendor discrepancy inquiries.
• Monitor item changes and manage external (customer) and internal (cross functional) communication.
• Run and Analyze reporting.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
