Senior Transit (Bus Rapid Transit) Engineer

Job Description

AECOM  is seeking a  Senior Transit (Bus) Engineer  to be based in the  Green Bay Milwaukee Madison Oshkosh or Stevens Point Wisconsin locations  to join our growing transit engineering practice.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Be a design lead on preliminary design studies and final design of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects.
• Coordinate cooperate and work collaboratively with other team members.
• Assists with the engineering design of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects including the design of BRT transit guideways BRT stations and pedestrian facilities.
• Lead a team preparing engineering calculations and developing drawings and visual aids for BRT infrastructure.
• Reviews designs calculations sketches diagrams schematic drawings and final working drawings.
• Support the business development of the AECOM Bus Rapid Transit Design to the development of reports and documentation needed for the pursuit of federal grants.
• Perform work following an agreed-upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
