Recruiting Solutions is seeking an IT Support Specialist for a company in the Piedmont, SC area. This position is responsible for for troubleshooting, problem solving, and providing IT assistance to staff, including remote solutions. This is an onsite position.
Job Duties :
Respond promptly to service issues and everyday requests.Install and configure computer hardware and software.Ensure all hardware is up to date with the latest security features and software updates.Update hardware as needed; replace parts or replace hardware in its entirety.Assist in setting up accounts for new users.Configure Android / Apple Cell phones as needed.Provide entry-level training to the end-users on software programs and hardware functionality.Maintain company inventory of computer equipment and software.Document processes and perform diagnostic tests if needed.Make end users aware of security threats and explain best practices to avoid them.Monitor Office 365 server port for various security issues.Work with users to maintain password security via the Microsoft Authenticator app.Configure and make changes to the VOIP phone systemGather data to identify and evaluate technical purchasing optionsQualifications :
Basic knowledge of networking principles and operating systemsExcellent troubleshooting and hands-on problem-solving skillsA mindset of looking for process improvementsStrive to develop vendor relationships.A strong customer service focusOffice 365 cloud server experience a plusPrior experience working on a Helpdesk, in IT, or similar technical functionsBenefits :
