Responsibilities

Primary Job Functions :

Assist the Maintenance Department in all aspects of Maintenance and Facilities Support

  • Conducts Pre Construction Risk Assessments and closes them at project completion and reviews job sites for completion
  • Organizes and maintains records related to inspection / testing / maintenance
  • Facilitates follow up on Customer Service Surveys
  • Monitors employee and patient safety and addresses safety issues
  • Surveys facilities for cleanliness and supplemental services when visiting sites
  • Oversees maintenance related software to include WorxHub, Eoscene and Azuga in addition to API and reports results to the Assistant Director

  • Seeks supervision and consultation as needed
  • Accepts and employs suggestions for improvement
  • Actively works to enhance skills
  • Courteous and respectful towards customers, visitors, co-workers and medical staff
  • Treats customers and coworkers with care, dignity and compassion
  • Respects consumers’ privacy and confidentiality
  • Is pleasant and cooperative with others
  • Assists employees and visitors as needed
  • Is sensitive to the consumers’ needs, expectations and individual differences
  • Is gentle and calm with employees, families and others as appropriate
  • Administrative and Other Related Duties as assigned
  • Actively participates in Performance Improvement activities
  • Actively participates in AltaPointe committees as requested
  • Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Works in a cooperative manner with other AltaPointe employees
  • Follows AltaPointe policies and procedures

    • Knowledge of Environment of Care, outlined below, to be attained within 6 months of employment :

  • Knowledge of Codes relating to Life Safety and Environment of Care
  • Knowledge of The Joint Commission and DMH standards and standards of accrediting bodies related to Environment of Care
  • Knowledge of Policies and Procedures as they relate to Environment of Care
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a personal computer
  • Knowledge of Environment of Care compliance software and computerized maintenance management

    • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications :

    High School Diploma or Equivalent

    Preferred candidates will have 2 years of experience in safety or compliance related positions.
