Technical Program Manager Fleet Capacity Planning

Location : Nashville, TN or Seattle, WA (Hybrid)

Employment Type : Full-Time, Contract 6-months (potential for extension or conversion)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and innovative Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead capacity planning and forecasting initiatives for our fleet service operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in automotive or engineering, who thrives in data-driven environments and enjoys solving complex operational challenges. As part of a dynamic and growing team within the payments and logistics space, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our fleet services and make a meaningful impact on business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement capacity planning and forecasting tools to optimize fleet service operations.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, forecast needs, and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams to drive strategic decisions.
  • Lead and influence projects without direct authority, using strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Translate customer needs into scalable solutions, balancing business goals with technical constraints.
  • Support planning for Class 46 vehicle fleets and other automotive models (e.g., Tesla).

Requirements

  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Data Science, or related field.
  • 35 years of relevant industry experience in capacity planning, fleet services, or automotive operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL; experience with data visualization and analysis tools.
  • Strong data sourcing and modeling skills, with the ability to simplify complex datasets for decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with automotive technician service hour planning and fleet maintenance forecasting.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Class 46 vehicle fleet operations.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and service planning.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering data-driven solutions from concept to execution.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
