Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Unpack, examine, and stage incoming shipments; identify damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with supplier / shipper to rectify issues
• Receive, process, and return all defective parts for repair, replacement and credit
• Monitor inventory of project materials and consumables
• Perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods
• Arrange for pick up by the carrier specified on shipping request
• Manage the shipment of goods both domestically and internationally
• Pull / stage material based on Project Management requests for early / late pickup
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Keep an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
• Manage stock levels, PPE and company clothing as needed
• Document and maintain records of all tools, PPE and clothing as issued to employees
• May be asked to pick-up or deliver supplied using a company van
