Registered Veterinary Technician (Westlake Village, CA)

VCA Westlake Village Animal Hospital in the beautiful, upscale area of Westlake Village, CA is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our wonderful team! Pay Range : $25.50 - $29.50 / hour (RVT Licensure is required & proof must be provided).

This is a full-time position. Shifts are daytime hours, and you would be scheduled (4)-ten hour shifts. Fridays and Saturdays are required for this position.

Monday - Friday : 8 : 00a - 7 : 00p

Saturday - Sunday : 8 : 00a - 4 : 00p

What You'll Do :

• Work closely with DVM's to provide outstanding client and patient care
• Assist in surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring
• Perform dental cleanings, dental radiographs, dental extractions
• Administer medications and treatments
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Sample collection for laboratory testing
• Drug calculations
• Client education
• Facility cleaning, equipment maintenance as needed
• Record keeping
• Filling medications
• Additional duties not listed above may be assigned as needed.
