Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Project / Client Manager to lead and grow our Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads presence while supporting our national infrastructure business unit. This role offers the chance to guide the planning, design, and delivery of complex water, wastewater, and advanced water treatment projects, from concept through construction. We're looking for a proven leader who has managed multidisciplinary teams and large metropolitan infrastructure programs, ensuring successful delivery and strong client relationships.

As a Senior Project / Client Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects while managing client relationships and supporting business growth across the Mid-Atlantic region. You'll be responsible for the technical execution, financial performance, and overall delivery of projects from concept through construction.

Essential Functions

• Lead project delivery for water and wastewater treatment, advanced water treatment, conveyance, and pumping facilities from planning through construction.
• Coordinate work activities of various technical staff and consultants, leading progress meetings, preparing meeting agendas and minutes and tracking project schedules and budgets;
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts using Tetra Tech's project management tools.
• Plan, evaluate, and select preferred design alternatives in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee and review engineering analyses, design calculations, reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate work activities and communicating with various municipalities and governmental regulating agencies;
• Oversee construction contract management and observation services;
• Prepare reports and permit applications regarding water / wastewater;
• Supervise and mentor entry-level engineers;
• Collaborate with regional and local leadership to identify and develop business opportunities (including supporting other Tetra Tech business units), prepare proposals, secure new work, and recruit staff.
