The Role
We’re looking for a VP of Engineering to lead our engineering team through rapid product development cycles, champion agile methodologies, and align engineering with business goals. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll deliver scalable, secure, high-performance software while fostering a collaborative, accountable culture. You’ll work closely with product, customer success, and executive leadership to ensure engineering is a true business driver.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, grow, and mentor a high-performing engineering organization across software development, QA, DevOps, and architecture.
- Drive agile best practices for sprint planning, backlog management, and timely delivery of high-quality releases.
- Collaborate with Product Management on strategic roadmaps.
- Ensure top standards for code quality, security, performance, and scalability.
- Lead architectural and technology decisions to modernize and evolve our platform.
- Implement OKRs / KPIs to measure efficiency and team performance.
- Champion a DevSecOps culture with CI / CD at the core.
- Partner with executives to align technical solutions with long-term customer and business needs.
- Oversee budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.
- Drive talent acquisition and professional development across the team.
What We’re Looking For
10+ years in software engineering, including 5+ in senior leadership (Director, VP, or above).Proven track record leading engineering teams in agile / Scrum or SAFe environments.Deep expertise in secure software development, cloud (AWS / Azure), and modern architectures (microservices, APIs).Background in enterprise software, cybersecurity, or data management.Experience with compliance-focused solutions (e.g., data governance, DLP, eDiscovery) a plus.Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
