Weekend - Spot Welder

Advance Services has an exciting new opening for a Weekend Spot Welder Brooklyn Park, MN!

Duties :

Set up and operate spot welding machines based on work instructions and blueprints.

Position and clamp workpieces together using jigs or fixtures.

Monitor weld quality and make adjustments to machine settings as needed.

Inspect finished welds for strength, appearance, and accuracy using gauges or visual checks.

Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment, including cleaning electrodes and replacing tips.

Record production data, defects, and maintenance activities.

Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Communicate with supervisors and team members about production issues or quality concerns.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous experience in spot welding or metal fabrication is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and safety instructions.

Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of welding principles.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Work Environment :

Manufacturing floor with exposure to heat, noise, and metal dust.

Requires use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses

The position is seated at the machine

Shift : 1st  Friday-Sunday

Hours : 6AM-6 : 30PM

Pay : $22-24 / hr.
