job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBoard Certification in Interventional Radiology (AOBR or ABR). Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology (IR) is highly preferred. Active Washington State medical license. ACLS certification. Clean background for expedited credentialing. Diagnostic imaging : Angiography, CT, and Ultrasound. Interventional procedures : Angioplasty, stent placement, chemoembolization, embolization, aortic aneurysm endograft stent, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and kyphoplasty. EMR : EPIC for hospital documentation; Philips ISite platform for teleradiology. Credentialing process : 60120 days. Patient population : Adults, including geriatric and adolescent patients. Competitive hourly rates with additional compensation for call and holiday shifts. Opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with a diverse case mix. We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in a hospital-based setting near Seattle, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive team in a dynamic environment.
Position Highlights :
- Duration : January 1, 2025 February 28, 2025
- Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., with on-call responsibilities during the week and 24-hour call on weekends.
- Volume : 811 cases per day, focusing on paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies.
- Facility Type : Level 3 Trauma Center with an annual emergency room volume of 55,000.
- Team : Collaborate with 2 on-site interventional radiologists and a larger system-wide team of 25+ professionals. Standard IR support staff included.
