Legal Receptionist
IST Management is seeking a Legal Receptionist to join the Ft. Lauderdale team today! The Legal Receptionist will be responsible for providing daily Corporate reception / front desk, hospitality, and other administrative support services on-site in a professional environment. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in reception services, possess an excellent customer service mindset, display clear communication abilities, are willing to train, and are ready to grow in their professional office services career! Prior experience in a legal setting is a plus.
The Legal Receptionist will be responsible for providing daily Front Desk / Reception services and other office services support in a professional law firm setting, to include :
- Greeting, welcoming and directing visitors appropriately; Maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and policies.
- Operate a telecommunication system by following instructions for office phone operation; Use Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Powerpoint tools to create documents
- Copy, scan and fax according to instructions and procedures; Sort and distribute incoming mail to client employees in a corporate setting.
- Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills; Follow policies and confidentiality dictations to safeguard data and information.
- Prepare and setup conference rooms for meetings; Order meals and work with catering vendors to cater office events; Sort and file documents electronically
- Other tasks as assigned to support client and site needs
The Law Firm-Receptionist will possess excellent communication abilities (verbal and written), have prior front desk or reception experience (preferred), are willing to train, and are self-motivated; additional qualifications include :
High school diploma or equivalent (GED); Authorization to work in the US, willingness to submit to required pre-employment drug screenProfessional appearance and demeanor; Keyboarding and windows environment PC skillsPrior customer service / retail / hospitality experience preferredExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to effectively work individually or in a team environment; Competency in performing multiple functional tasksAbility to meet employer's attendance policy; A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from workWillingness to cross-train for other job functions; Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.Ability and willingness to submit to and pass required pre-employment drug screen.IST Management provides reasonable accommodations to individuals with a disability in accordance with applicable law in both the application and employment stages.
