Position Description :

The Recruiter is responsible for all external candidates, from recruitment to retention, to end of the assignment (the entire life cycle of the candidate's placement cycle). This includes : (a) finding and selecting quality candidates; (b) placing candidates in appropriate roles for external contracts; (c) managing any issues the candidate may have with their placement (or that the client may have with the candidate).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Source potential qualified candidates, including identifying, screening and selecting candidates through various candidate sources, including job boards
• Assess and select candidates that meet client needs
• Determine wage rates for candidates within client contractual guidelines
• Remove poor performing candidates from assignments (or effectively recommend such removal)
• Resolve any issues between candidates and client, including escalation of issues as needed to appropriate client and Cell Staff leadership
• Retain successful candidates by positive interactions / contact through phone, email, texting software, social media, etc., among other things
• Consistently manage relationship from the beginning of the recruitment process throughout the candidate's assignment
• Work closely with Account Managers / Recruitment Manager to maintain a viable candidate pipeline
• Coordinate the submittal of candidate's time records
• Uphold and exceed recruitment quotas
• Display effective teamwork with co-workers while assisting others in the workplace
• Demonstrate professionalism in areas of answering phones, greeting staff, and meeting potential clients
