Responsibilities
Create and deliver engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood growth and development.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom that encourages creativity, independence, and exploration.
Observe, assess, and document developmental milestones while communicating progress with families.
Lead classroom activities aligned with Primrose’s Balanced Learning® curriculum.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the overall educational experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Provide mentorship and support to assistant teachers and interns.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood setting.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for helping young children learn, grow, and thrive.
Ability to create a nurturing, engaging, and structured environment.
Knowledge of child development principles and early education best practices.
Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers.
