Job Description :

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join a locally owned and operated company in Evansville, IN, providing innovative solutions to clients through high-quality design, fabrication, and customer service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to support accurate financial operations while contributing to the company's growth.

Schedule : Full-time, Monday - Friday, day shift

Key Responsibilities :

• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and timely
• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end close
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist in preparing reports for management
• Monitor and manage invoices, statements, and payment schedules
• Support payroll processing and expense reporting
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payments
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit preparation
• Provide general administrative support within the accounting department as needed
