Special Education Teacher

Position Overview :

• Lead the development and implementation of IEPs tailored to students' unique learning needs by providing direct instruction and using various teaching techniques to achieve their academic and developmental goals.
• Regularly assess, record, and monitor students' progress, adapting the curriculum and instructional strategies as need for student success.
• The Special Education Teacher serves as a primary liaison for families and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, to coordinate services to ensure a unified approach for each student's education.
• Create and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and personal growth.
