Job Title : (Python / React / AWS) Quantitative Risk Developer

Location : New York NY or Charlotte NC or Atlanta GA (Hybrid)

Duration : Long term

Practice : Digital Engineering / Data & Analytics with Risk domain background

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop responsive web-based UIs using React and Python (Flask / FastAPI).
  • Build and maintain real-time data integrations using Kafka and message queues.
  • Develop backend services and APIs with Python and Java for risk data processing.
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS using cloud-native services (Lambda ECS S3 etc.).
  • Collaborate with Bank s risk and compliance teams to deliver scalable secure solutions.
  • Apply strong software engineering principles including modular design testing and CI / CD.
  • Participate in hands-on coding peer reviews and agile ceremonies.

Required Skills :

  • 5 6 years of experience in Python and React.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and knowledge of Java.
  • Experience with Kafka MQ and real-time data streaming.
  • Solid understanding of data structures algorithms and system design.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure automation.
  • Proven track record of delivering hands-on coding projects in production environments.
  • Strong learning mindset and ability to adapt to evolving tech stacks.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Exposure to financial risk platforms or regulatory reporting systems.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and GitOps workflows.
  • Experience with observability tools and performance tuning.
