The HR Specialist assists the HR team with basic duties and administrative tasks and is specifically focused on recruiting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Lead the administrative tasks for recruiting, including posting ads, screening resumes,and scheduling interviews
- Work with the HRBP to create a Predictive Index Job Assessment for each openpositio
- Act as point of contact for candidates to answer questions and schedule travel forinterviews
- Support the HRBP with other recruiting and hiring activities (including contractors)
- Maintain job postings in the applicant tracking system, generate recruitment reports, andmanage time to fill
- Respond to non-selected candidates at the end of the hiring process
- Respond to basic questions from employees and applicants regarding recruiting andrecruitment process; refer more complex questions appropriately
- Assist with the preparation of the performance review process, benefit open enrollment,and other HR initiatives as needed
- Continually search for ways to streamline HR processes, add efficiencies, and minimizepaperwork
- Ensure employee record files are kept current and secured
- Other related activities as assigned
Qualifications
3+ years of Human Resources experienceModerate experience with iCIMS or Applicant Tracking System (ATS)General understanding and interest in Human Resources processes, practices, and regulations.Strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to handle confidential data with a high level of professionalismProficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office ProductsExperience working in mid-size services company preferredAbility to climb and descend at least one flight of stairs multiple times per dayOccasional need to lift up to 15 poundsSES has multiple office locations, and the HR Specialist may be required to travel to various offices on occasion.
