Location :   Lakeland, FL 33815 – Hybrid after training

Pay : $25-$28.00 per hour

Job description :

• Investigate and validate fraud claims by reviewing account activity, contacting involved parties, and collecting necessary documentation within regulatory timeframes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of fraud cases, including outcomes, actions taken, and audit documentation in case management systems.
• Communicate with members, merchants, and financial institutions via inbound / outbound calls to resolve disputes and gather supporting information.
• Monitor and triage transaction alerts using fraud detection software (e.g., Verafin), escalating complex cases to senior staff when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., Reg E, Reg Z) and assist in fund recovery efforts for fraudulent or loss-related transactions.
