Sanitation Worker - SSF Night Shift

This is a night shift position running from 9 pm to 5 : 30 am. The role involves working a rotating schedule, starting with a full week from Monday to Sunday and then transitioning to a 5-6 day work week. Overtime is compensated, including double time for extra hours on the seventh day. Initially, this position is a contract for 31 working days, after which there is potential for transition to a full-time role. The work environment is predominantly Spanish-speaking.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure detailed sanitation and upkeep of the facility, making sure all processing equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to meet established standards.
• Maintain the facility and surrounding areas in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and recognized Food Safety Standards.
• Remove trash and product / soil from the plant and clean floors, walls, and ceilings.
• Follow directions from the Sanitation Supervisor and Leads.
• Adhere to all sanitation equipment guidelines and wear protective gear provided by the company.

Work Environment :

The work takes place in a bakery environment with varying temperatures, including refrigerated rooms and areas warmed by ovens. Compliance with GMP is mandatory. The role requires standing for long periods, climbing stairs, and working in cold and wet environments.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
