Summary
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Level 1 Technician to join our Managed IT Services (MSP) team. Youll provide remote and on-site technical support to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) troubleshooting hardware and software issues and ensuring a seamless client experience. This role is ideal for proactive individuals with strong IT fundamentals excellent problem-solving skills and a dedication to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
Provide first-contact support for incoming requests via phone email and help desk portal.
Troubleshoot hardware / software issues using remote tools and hands-on fixes.
Perform routine updates backups and system monitoring.
Log track and resolve IT incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.
Maintain clear effective communication with clients.
Document client systems configurations and resolutions.
Implement and monitor security measures.
Assist with hardware / software installation and configuration.
Support operations and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science Networking or 2 years equivalent work experience.
Prior experience in an MSP or IT support environment preferred.
Proficiency in Windows 10 / 11 macOS server OS (Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022) and Microsoft 365.
Certifications such as CompTIA A Network Security or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP / MCSA) are a plus.
Experience with RMM tools (e.g. NinjaRMM) ticketing systems (e.g. Autotask PSA) and documentation platforms (e.g. IT Glue).
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid drivers license and ability to travel locally.
Work Environment
Provide remote and on-site support in Longmont and Loveland area.
