Overview
Position : Senior Technical Architect Location : Lansing, MI Duration : 12 Months Interview : In-person only (LOCALS or 100 miles)
Responsibilities
- Ad hoc requests for technical architecture assistance as needed.
- Active participation in planning for application modernization with DTMB and retirement of legacy Power Builder applications.
- Analysis and design for upgrades and migrations of DNR systems.
- Development of data architecture roadmap for the DNR.
- Coordination with Enterprise Information Management (EIM) on both data strategy and enterprise IT solutions.
- GIS integration strategy.
- Develop technical recommendations for complying with electronic hunting and fishing licensure.
- DNR wants someone to construct a data architecture schema that will be used for all new applications. They also want the resource to help with a data migration strategy so the new data schema can be associated with old data.
