Job Summary
We are seeking an PRN Home Health Occupational Therapist to join our team! As a PRN Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will be meeting with several patients in a day, discussing their treatment needs and ultimate goals, and crafting customized, comprehensive therapy plans for them. You will also work closely with other doctors or members of their health team to arrange follow-up care, help educate patients on lifestyle changes they may need, and provide a positive, affirming presence in their lives. The ideal candidate has a compassionate style of care, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, and is comfortable handling multiple different cases at a time.
Responsibilities
Meet with patients from many different backgrounds and compassionately discuss their health concerns and therapy needsConduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patientCreate a therapy plan specific to each patient that will help them meet their mobility goalsWork closely with other members of each patient’s care team to provide adequate follow-up careMaintain excellent records of patient therapy and progressQualifications
Must hold the required state license for occupational therapyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skillsGood attention to detailThe ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patientsPRN Pay Amounts
$70 per evaluation and re-evaluation$60 per routine visit$65 per discharge$70 per OT OASIS discharge$75 per OT resumption of care$80 per OT recert$85 per lymphedema evaluation$75 per lymphedema routine visit$80 per lymphedema dischargeBi-weekly payments will also include payment for mileage driven.
