Job Description :
The administrative coordinator reports to the Department of Education's Director of Undergraduate Programs and the Director of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. The administrative coordinator supports the work of faculty, students, the Assessment Coordinator (Education), the Licensing Officer (Education), the CACREP Liaison (CMHC), and both Clinical Experience Coordinators (Education and CMHC) when needed.
Duties include, but are not limited to :
- Collaborate closely with the following offices to ensure programs begin and continue seamlessly; Admissions (Undergraduate and Graduate), Registrar, Business Office, Marketing and Communications;
- Work with IT and respective partner (MSCS, etc.) to ensure student accessibility and access to LMS (Canvas), CBU email, etc;
- Support scheduling of meetings and the use of technology with various partners;
- Serve as an initial point of contact for general departmental requests with responsibility for gathering required information and communicating to relevant internal and external stakeholders;
- Manage departmental calendar, schedule, and coordinate internal and external meetings;
- Supervise departmental student workers;
- Handle administrative duties for the programs, including purchasing invoices, expense reimbursements, and check requests while maintaining inventory of office supplies; and
- Take notes and create minutes for program meetings as required documentation for accreditation purposes;
Additional Duties and Responsibilities (Non-Essential Functions) :
May serve on program committees as required; andAttend Rosa Deal School of Arts and program meetings as required.Requirements :
