Ability to interpret technical data, process flows, and performance metrics. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general data analysis tools. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Currently live within a commutable distance , or Be planning to relocate to the Shreveport area at their own expense .
Industrial Engineer
Pay : $40 / hr (possibly more depending on experience)
Location : Shreveport, LA
Schedule : Full-time, rotating schedule (must be willing to work days, nights, and weekends)
About the Role
We are seeking an Industrial Engineer with 480 experience and hands-on plant operations experience. This position plays a key role in improving production processes, increasing efficiency, and supporting safe and reliable plant performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Apply industrial engineering principles to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes.
- Utilize 480 experience to support workflow analysis, time studies, and process optimization.
- Work closely with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to improve plant performance.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce downtime, scrap, and inefficiencies.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify trends and recommend solutions.
- Assist in capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
