Android Developer

Akkodis is seeking an Android Developer for a Contract job with a client in Sunnyvale, CA . The ideal candidate must be proficient in Android SDK, Jetpack components, MVVM architecture, and integrating RESTful APIs.

Rate Range : $51.51 / hour to $53.03 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Android Developer job responsibilities include :

• Develop Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Implement modern Android architecture patterns including MVVM and Jetpack components.
• Ensure compatibility across different Android versions using Android SDK.
• Integrate RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications with backend services.
• Apply UI / UX principles and material design guidelines for responsive layouts.
• Migrate and maintain UI components using TailwindCSS and modern libraries.
• Utilize dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger or Hilt.
• Implement asynchronous programming using coroutines.
• Manage code using Git and maintain CI / CD pipelines for Android projects.

Pay Details : $51.51 to $53.03 per hour
