Join a leading distributor of fireplaces, stoves, and hearth products where you'll work with a variety of materials such as tiles, marble, granite, and stones for both indoor and outdoor fireplaces.

Responsibilities :

• Pick and pull parts using RF scanners that resemble smartphones.
• Operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, or cherry pickers to move and retrieve products.
• Utilize a forklift 80%-90% of the time to load slats of products like granite, marble, and stone into a forklift cage.
• Drive crates of materials to automated shrink wrap stations and secure pallets with tape.
• Encourage team lifts for materials heavier than 50 lbs.

Work Environment :

Work hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM, with potential overtime during the week. Steel-toed shoes are required from day one, and safety vests and eyewear are provided. The factory environment can vary in temperature, being warm in summer and cool in winter, with air circulation through open bay doors. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toe footwear, with shorts not permitted. Team leads are available to assist bilingual employees.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $18.50 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
