Paralegal Legal Services
This is a five-year contract with the possibility of a further contract extension. Suitable applicants may be considered for other similar vacancies within the next 12 months.
THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) is a leading anti-corruption agency whose primary purpose is to strengthen the integrity of the public sector, reduce corruption and disrupt criminal activity for the benefit of our community.
The Legal Services Directorate supports the Commission in the performance of its functions under the Corruption, Crime and Misconduct Act 2003 (CCM Act) and other legislation by providing independent advice, representation, training and leadership in relation to all aspects of the Commission's business and operations.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a detail orientated and proactive Paralegal to support the delivery of high-quality legal services across the Legal Services Directorate. You will provide paralegal, executive and secretarial services to the Director Legal Services and the Legal Services team including diary management, transcription, and receiving, assessing and managing telephone and electronic communications and correspondence.
The role assists with preparation and management of legal information and correspondence within and from the Commission, maintaining document control systems, undertaking legal research and projects and liaises with internal and external stakeholders including Courts and Tribunal.

The Commission requires applicants to be Australian citizens or be immediately eligible for citizenship, and appointment is conditional on satisfactory completion of a rigorous security clearance process.
