Position Summary :

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This role focuses on enhancing students' ability to participate in educational activities through direct and indirect therapy services, collaboration, and program planning. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting student success in the educational setting through a multidisciplinary approach.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement occupational therapy plans as part of students' IEPs.

Provide treatment and manage disabilities based on evaluation results, including direct and / or indirect therapy.

Collaborate with medical and educational professionals, paraprofessionals, and families to support student needs.

Deliver consultation and education related to occupational therapy and student disabilities.

Maintain documentation, records, and equipment necessary for delivering therapy services in a school environment.

Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and provide guidance as needed.

Ensure proper fit, use, and adjustment of specialized equipment.

Conduct evaluations and participate in research to inform and improve occupational therapy practices within the school setting.

Required Qualifications :

Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate as an Occupational Therapist.

Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Washington State Occupational Therapist License .
