NV5, Inc. is seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Design Professional for the Water Resources Engineering Group in our Albuquerque Office. The preferred candidate will have a water resource / civil project background with experience utilizing AutoCAD / Civil3D for construction plan preparation. Knowledge of ArcGIS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan production using AutoCAD / Civil3D software and techniques. Creation of exhibits to accompany reports and / or presentations.
• Ability and desire to continue to learn AutoCAD, Civil3D and ArcGIS.
• Produce design and construction plan drawings from sketches, existing drawings, electronic images, and written and / or verbal descriptions.
• Work directly with Senior Designers, Project Managers and Department Director to implement project design and production requirements.
• Implement company and client AutoCAD / Civil3D standards and quality procedures.
• Work closely with project team members, other departments, and sub-consultants to ensure drawings convey complete and correct information.
• Other duties as assigned.
