About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Specialty : RRT

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 1 year post-surgical open heart experience in addition to critical care experience.

License : RRT, GA RCP

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS

Must-Have :

• Previous experience with Flolan Therapy desired.
• No first-time travelers accepted.
• Schedule is rotating every other weekend.

Description :

Facility specializes in open heart surgery and may rotate to general ICU, ER, and adult med-surge areas as needed.

Shifts are from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 08 AM.

Requests for blocked schedules are not accommodated.

Daily patient ratios are 1 : 25.

Travel experience is required.

Experience in adult critical care procedures is necessary.

Must possess knowledge in aerosol setups, interpretation of arterial blood gases, and tracheostomy care.

Additional patient care includes managing patients across various age groups, including neonates and geriatrics.

Service is patient-centered with interdisciplinary support in respiratory services.

Tobacco-free facility policy is in place.
