Responsibilities

Primary focus is to assist Underwriter / Broker Senior in servicing and operational management of accounts.

Underwrites, services, and manages assigned accounts with production and service goals.

Underwrites individual property and casualty insurance applications within guidelines for standard or substandard issuance.

Determines whether to accept, modify, or decline a risk by evaluating property value, location, usage, safety features, and other relevant information.

Maintains frequent contact with field teams to gather information to base and defend underwriting decisions.

Qualifications

Required :

Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.

Preferred :

Behaviors : Assignments are broad in nature and usually require originality and ingenuity.
