HVAC Building Maintenance Technician 2

OVERVIEW

The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance and service repairs on heating ventilating and air conditioning systems. Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines under general supervision and supporting the Rocket Center mission vision and values.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions

Position Duties

• Install maintain and repair heating ventilation and cooling units.
• Diagnose and repair chillers boilers air compressors pneumatic gas and kitchen appliances.
• Assist other department staff with general repairs and maintenance.
• Be available to work nights or weekends on a rotating basis to service the emergency needs.
• Document all installed equipment upon arrival : make model serial number type of fuel necessary test measurements and pictures as required for FMX data logs.
• Obtain replacement parts calibrate the system according to the manufacturers recommendations and log this data into the FMX software system.
• Participate in company-provided training opportunities on the latest industry technologies.
