About SLUCare Physician Group and SSM Health :

SSM Health-SLUCare is seeking an experienced advanced practice provider to join our growing service line. SLUCare represents the  academic medical practice of Saint Louis University , known for leading-edge care and groundbreaking research. This inpatient position will work in the stepdown unit.

Job Highlights :

• Provide clinical care to patients transitioning from the Cardiac Surgery ICU to the step-down setting; evaluate and develop plan of care for new patient consults
• Perform detailed assessments, monitor / evaluate cardiac status, manage patient through the pre-post-op period, initiate / refine medical management, participate in multi-disciplinary rounds, care coordination, discharge planning and education, chest tube / pacing wire removal, wound care
• Shift-based schedule including rotating weekends and holidays
• No Call / No Nights
