Job Description
Provides primary and episodic patient care independently and collaboratively, following established protocols and standards set by leadership.
Performs comprehensive physical exams, assessments, and diagnostic tests, interpreting results to determine appropriate care plans.
Prescribes medications, educates patients on health promotion and disease prevention, and ensures compliance with safety and infection control standards.
Maintains patient flow, manages complex and sensitive issues with professionalism, and supervises nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
Requires MD or DO from an accredited school, valid Texas medical license, board certification, DEA and DOT certifications, and relevant clinical experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical skills are essential.
Physical and environmental demands include long-standing, lifting, exposure to biohazards, and ability to communicate effectively in English.
