job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following guidelines provided by Allied Universal and site management. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. Assist visitors and employees with directions and general information, maintaining a professional and approachable presence. Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Work collaboratively with site management and local authorities when necessary to address security-related situations. Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent is required. A college degree is required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
