job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPicks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up and checks for payments Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries, pick-ups, payments and COD’s Advises Parts Manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance Assists service department as needed with attendant responsibilities of managing the drop-off and pick-up of customers' cars Valid Driver’s License, with 2 or fewer moving violations and ALSO no major violations in the last 3 years (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) Three to six months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence Self-Starter with proven ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematics skills
Job Description
Hall Mazda in Virginia Beach is adding a Parts Delivery Driver to our team. This is a Monday through Friday role, no Saturdays! Pay starts at $15 / hour. Candidates MUST have a good driving record!

Summary :
The Parts Driver will be responsible for transporting automotive parts to different locations using a company vehicle while obeying all federal and state traffic laws and safe daily practices. This individual will communicate at a high level to both internal and external customers to drive a high level of customer service.
