Job Summary

In this role, you will independently perform respiratory therapy in various acute and critical care settings, acting in accordance with physician orders and departmental policies. Your expertise will be essential in consulting with healthcare teams and providing recommendations for optimal patient treatment across all age groups.

Accountabilities

Minimum Qualifications

Must hold a degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program and possess or be eligible for licensure in South Carolina.

Required Certifications / Registrations / Licenses

Must be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in South Carolina or be eligible. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. NBRC credential maintenance is necessary. Note that new hires after June 2016 must achieve the Therapist Multiple Choice Exam at the Registered Therapist cut score and complete the Clinical Simulation Exam within six months of employment.
