Responsibilities

We are seeking a Sr. Cloud Security Specialist to join our team protecting our complex, global infrastructure. Our infrastructure is built on a cloud strategy. We are seeking a candidate who possesses a deep, expert-level skill-set in a multi-cloud environment . The ideal applicant will define security standards, create safe landing zones, automate threat detection across a diversified and large-scale environment, and maintain compliance across numerous cloud platforms .

Responsibilities

Be a self-driven and motivated team player to help other team members and our customers overcome challenges to drive secure outcomes that transform security teams with modern approaches to risk and compliance

Develop and promote best practices for security of, in and through software-defined environments

Produce tactical solutions and strategic frameworks that address security in Multi-Cloud platforms

Assist clients in building and adopting secure cloud environments to accelerate attestation and compliance across the cloud footprint

Make recommendations for building new infrastructure and improving existing architecture

Help implement and adopt new technologies for future deployment

Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfers and mentorship to peers as required

Stay up to date on Cloud Security approaches, supporting technologies, trends, standards, and best practices

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Cloud : Design, implement, and maintain security architectures across a multi-cloud infrastructure such as Azure, GCP, AWS and OCI. Ensure all environments meet the highest standards of security, availability, and compliance.

Implement, monitor, and analyze cloud security systems, such as CNAPP (CSPM, CIEM, CDR, etc..)

Experience integrating 3rd party cloud security, posture management and monitoring tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Terraform.

Maintain an inventory of cloud resources and third-party integrations.

Experience with Cloud-Native Security tools and solutions

Find opportunities for automation eliminating manual activities and enhance security capabilities..

Threat Detection & Response : Engineer unified threat detection capabilities. You will correlate signals from cloud security command centersto create a centralized view of our security posture.

Conduct initial analysis of suspected cloud security incidents, including determining the nature and scope of the incident.

Governance & Compliance : Lead technical initiatives to ensure our cloud environments comply with regulatory standards (CISA, NIST etc) specific to the nuances of each cloud provider.

Create a comprehensive documentation for any discovered security misconfigurations.

Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for cloud-native services.

Support remediation of application vulnerabilities and provide technical guidance

Assist in audits and evidence collection for regulatory compliance.

Maintain documentation of security architecture, policies, and procedures.

Identity & Access Management (IAM) : Architect complex IAM strategies.

Manage and ensure least privilege principles are enforced in a multi-cloud environment

Design, implement, and manage security policies to control access to cloud resources.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Security : Integrate security into the CI / CD pipeline. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing and auditing Terraform and scripts

Collaborate & Awareness

Collaborate with IAM, Infrastructure, SOC, and governance GRC teams to align cloud security with enterprise policies.

Work with third-party vendors to reduce and / or mitigate the malicious items.

Be part of an on-call rotation.

Experience in supporting hybrid infrastructure.

Requirements

Work Experience

Expert-Level Experience : Minimum of 7+ years in Cloud Security, with a specific, demonstrable track record of supporting a multi-cloud infrastructure.

Container Security : Experience securing Kubernetes clusters across the board (AKS, GKE)

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems strongly preferred.

Requirements

Education :

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree / Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
