    • About the Role

    The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Advising, Testing, Career, and Transfer Services to play a pivotal role in the implementation of the institution's vision for student engagement, retention, and completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and integrating the advising, testing, career, and transfer functions, with a focus on developing and assessing strategies that promote student success. This includes the design and coordination of outreach activities, the establishment of integrated services, and the supervision of staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, data-driven programs. The role also involves close collaboration with academic affairs, admissions, and enrollment management to embed career and transfer advisement into the student experience. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should hold a Master's degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in academic advisement, with a strong preference for those with a background in community college settings. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in supervisory and management roles, experience with student record and information systems, and a deep understanding of best practices in academic advising. The ideal candidate will be visionary, equity-minded, and adept at using data to inform decision-making.
