We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Electrical Capital Projects Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This position is a unique opportunity for an individual who is passionate about electrical engineering and capital projects, and who is ready to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of electrical capital projects, from conception to completion. This includes planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This is a key role that requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

2. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

3. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals, and manage project budget and resource allocation.

4. Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools.

5. Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

6. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

7. Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems in the manufacturing facility.

8. Ensure all electrical equipment and systems meet health and safety regulations.

9. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering and capital project management.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering and capital projects, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

3. Proven experience in project management, from conception to delivery.

4. Solid understanding of project management principles and practices.

5. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

6. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

8. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

9. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

10. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
