Occupational Therapist

Job Description

Performs the essential duties and the primary functions of an occupational therapist. Responsibilities include but are not limited to administering occupational therapy treatments, documenting treatment, and communicating with physicians and other health care workers. Responsible for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. Responsible for solving practical problems, dealing with a variety of instructions in written and oral form.

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE

PRN : Minimum 1 weekend per month and one holiday per year and during the week as needed

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

• Administer OT modalities, procedures, and protocols according to department guidelines
• Provide accurate, timely, and complete documentation
• Support and practice in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
• Assumes responsibility for his / her professional development
