Midland University a private liberal-arts college in Fremont Nebraska (just outside of metro Omaha) is seeking an exceptional clinical adjunct faculty member to teach in Critical Care clinicals in the School of Nursing.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to : collaborating with nursing course faculty; coordinating with hospital staff to prepare clinical assignments for a group of 6-8 students in a critical care hospital setting in Omaha; documenting clinical feedback; grading of clinical assignments; conducting student final clinical evaluations; responding to student inquiries and meeting with students individually as needed.
Qualifications :
Unencumbered Registered Nurse License in the state of Nebraska or Iowa
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or enrollment in a Masters or Doctoral program in Nursing.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Critical Care
Ability to meet clinical agency requirements such as a background check abuse check drug testing CPR immunizations health care insurance etc.
Ability to create relevant learning opportunities in the clinical setting that meet professional expectations and standards.

Previous teaching experience in Nursing
