We are currently seeking a hands-on Senior Corporate Accountant to join our high-growth and fast-paced DSO. This position will assist with all elements of the accounting function, including General Ledger accounting and month end reporting. Financial statement preparation with footnotes experience is a must. The senior corporate accountant will oversee one (1) direct report and interact with our private equity partners, ensuring all reporting is accurate, complete, and timely. One (1) year of public accounting audit experience is preferred.

This position will be considered for future growth as an assistant controller.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison with external auditors during the annual financial statement audit, including the preparation and review of internal audit schedules and supporting documentation
• Maintain debt and seller note rollforward schedules
• Maintain LeaseQuery software and record lease accounting transactions
• Record and review monthly revenue and accounts receivable roll forward for assigned practices
• Perform various month-end close journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned
• Perform P&L trend analysis for multiple locations and research any unusual variances and prepare journal entries as needed
• Support the back-office integration of newly acquired locations
• Actively participate in the month, quarter-end and year-end close process ensuring work is completed in accordance with closing schedule
• Contribute to and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with best practices
• Lead a staff accountant and oversee their work product including prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations
• Ad hoc projects or other duties as needed to support the Accounting Department
