job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations. Manage access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points within the location. Monitor surveillance systems and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities. Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift in detailed reports. Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed. Follow all Allied Universal policies and procedures while maintaining a professional presence at the assigned location. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in Sterling Heights, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.
