Senior Advisory and Strategy Cloud Consultant

Job description Infosys is seeking a dynamic, strategic and innovative Senior Advisory And Strategy Cloud Consultant. As a cloud consulting leader, you will lead in creation of the cloud adoption strategy covering portfolio transformation approach, platform and operations strategy and work collaboratively with business consulting and domain specialist. You will also lead the execution of transformation, with architecture definition and technical governance. • Candidate must be located within commuting distance or willing to relocate to Richardson, TX, Houston, TX, Raleigh, NC, Hartford, CT, Indianapolis, IN, Tempe, AZ. This position may require travel in the US.,
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 13 years of Information Technology experience.
• Solution architect level certification for one or more of the hyperscalers.
• At least 4 years of experience as Portfolio architect / Solution architect involving public cloud technologies, with responsibilities on infrastructure, custom applications, and packaged applications. Should have been responsible for making technology choices, architecture decisions.
• At least 10 years of IT experience in technology consulting, architecture, design, build and operations of IT applications and infrastructure.
• Provide strategic advice and drive decisions in the areas of cloud technology selection and technology adoption. Present the entire adoption process from conceptualization to delivery and operations and help business case through TCO and ROI Calculations for the technology adoption.
• Create technical and enterprise architecture standards and guidelines to ensure that technology adopted and used in the right way, aligned with well-architected framework from the cloud providers, best practices provided the technology vendors.
• Experience and desire to work in a technology consulting environment that requires significant travel across USA.
• Critically evaluate the current state and create a pragmatic transformation approach to reach the target state.
• Provide Leadership & guidance to the technical implementation in aligning with the reference architecture, standards, and guidelines, ensuring that the program objectives are met.

• Planning and coordination skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Deep understanding of at least one industry vertical, its business processes and its IT rationalization.
• System thinking, Analytical skills and hands-on on technologies.
• Solution architect level certification with 2 or more public cloud providers
• Good understanding of AI / ML and applying the same for both business problems as well application engineering processes.
• Demonstrated thought leadership through publications, articles, blogs, or active participation in technical forums in relevant areas would be highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a technology agnostic manner in custom applications, packaged applications, data applications.
• Ability to coach, guide, and mentor the teams to adopt the new ways of working and upskill in them on architecture and technologies.
• Experience in working with decision makers in Global companies in building business case of cloud transformation and suggesting them solutions with cloud-based technologies.
• Define the IT portfolio target state to meet the stated business and technical objectives.
• Be proactive in identifying technologies that would relevant and add value in the IT landscape, ensuring the value creation with technology.
• You will collaborate with best talents to create and implement innovative high quality integrated solutions for taking the existing landscape to future state adopting new ways of working like digital natives.
• Provide technical leadership and participate in sales and pursuits focused on our clients' business needs.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
